DAILY ACTIVITIES
Tuesday June 7th:
Plan-Prepare -Mental Makeover for success.
Riders mindset: Understand your role in the horse – human relationship
How to think like a horse: You will learn how your emotions are connected directly to the horses and you will learn techniques effectively deal with your emotional state of mind and how to direct the horses emotional state of mind so that you two together can become one.
Lunch Break:
Ground work exercise: This work will produce respect for you from your horse and ensure your safety in dealing with them.
Tack Selection and use: When to use what

Wednesday June 8th:
Colt Starting- Learn how to prepare a horse to accept saddle and rider, build confidence
Develop confidence in the horse. This can be used on any horse no matter the age.
Lunch Break:
Putting together what you learned on Monday in conjunction with Tuesday session and applying to your horse.
Balanced Horseshoeing: Learn what balanced is.
Dummy roping: Learn to rope

Thursday June 9th:
Horse and Riders Body Control: Learn how to engage hind the quarters, soften the jaw, neck, shoulders and hips . Learn how to use your body to communicate what you want your horse to do.
Trailering: learn to load your horse mentally anytime anywhere
Lunch Break:
Train for the trail-overcoming obstacles: Learn how to deal with resistance and overcome fears.

Friday June 10th:
Flag Session: Learn to position your horse physically and mentally so that you can begin to do cattle work. This will be helpful no matter what discipline you want to perform in. Horses and riders really enjoy this.
Lunch:
Ranch riding: Learn speed control, what to expect when you show in ranch horse type classes

Saturday June 11th:
Trail Obstacle Competition
10:30 AM: Warm up
11:30 AM: Competition Starts
Fee: $25
