About Us

Dennis grew up on an Angus cattle farm, where his passion for livestock took deep roots. After graduating with a BS in Animal Sciences from the University of Missouri, he managed Briarwood Farms in Butler, MO, where he began his journey in horse training and shoeing.

Over the last 30 years, Dennis has produced champions in roping, cutting, and ranch versatility. His most recent accomplishments include being the 2016 Extreme Mustang Makeover Champion (Sedalia), Reserved Champion and Colt Starting Challenge Winner (Iowa Equine Fair), 2015 Extreme Mustang Makeover Champion (St. Louis), and Heartland Horseman’s Challenge Winner (Illinois Horse Fair). Dennis was also a past president of the Missouri Ranch Horse Association.

Dennis is known for his extremely effective communication with horses and people to raise both to their highest potential. His psychology of “Ride Your Picture” guides all aspects of his training.
Cindy is a teacher, author, and life coach. She joins Dennis in their equine programs and strengthens the team with her ability to empower people and encourage believing in one’s self. Cindy listens intently and poses creative questions to guide individuals in self-reflection that will result in clearer understanding of themselves and renewed understating about their worth. She delightfully draws her clients to a place of hope, love, and self-acceptance as she lays the blueprint for creating a new way of life.

Cindy’s Connected Circle is now forming for ladies who desire to shape and balance their mind, body, and spirit to match their hearts desire of joy, love, and worthiness. Contact Cindy for details.
Trenton is Cindy and Dennis’s grandson and grew up as papa Den’s buddy. He enjoys raising his cattle and showing them. His halter breaking method for his cattle uses the same methods Dennis uses to break horses to lead. Trenton’s livestock handling is a duplicate of Dennis program and has shown success in the show ring. In school, he enjoys playing baseball and is a member of the FFA Organization.
Harleigh is Cindy and Dennis’s granddaughter and she fits the nickname of “LuLu Doolittle.” She tames any animal she can on the place, be they horses, cats, birds, turtles, and more. Her vision is to be a veterinarian. Dennis started her experience with horses using his essential groundwork and progressed to riding skills. Her horsemanship is a product of his courses. See her at the 2021 Troy Rodeo, where she is running for Rodeo Princess.
